The boys were washing their hands last night before bed time. Amanda commented how tall they were getting because they were not using a stool or anything. Nathan said "Yeah, I'm using my regular feet!" I guess you have tip-toeing and then you have your "regular feet"!
readmore »»I cannot believe it has been 13 years! Amanda and I celebrated 13 years of marriage yesterday. I have to say that I did not really know what to expect when I got married. I thought I knew, but I really didn't.
I have learned that marriage is a wonderful thing. It means unconditional love (even when you may not LIKE your spouse), always having a date, hugs anytime, having someone to share life with, having a best friend, and so much more than that! I love my wife and I love our relationship. It is not perfect, but we love each other no matter what. The "D-word" (divorce) is not even in our vocabulary!
Marriage is not always easy, it is not always fun, it is not always all rosy, but it is worth the effort! I can't thank God enough for Amanda and our marriage. He definitely knew what he was doing when he joined our two hearts together.
